Embark on a captivating exploration of history with our special project during Black History Month! At Sikhululekile Reading Development and Life Skills, we've set out to bridge the knowledge gap between Africans and African Americans by creating children's story biographies in the form of delightful picture books. Recognizing the impact of distorted narratives perpetuated by big media, we've chosen this month to dedicate our efforts to crafting engaging narratives that showcase the lives of historical African activist figures. Through these colorful and inspiring picture books, we aim to not only educate, but also to instill a sense of pride and connection to African heritage in young minds. Join us in this creative venture, as we use the power of storytelling to foster understanding, unity, and a celebration of our shared history during Black History Month.
